The Chippewa Falls Comprehensive Plan update is a project that will update the 1999 City Comprehensive Plan. The City of Chippewa Falls received a grant from the Wisconsin Department of Administration to help pay for the plan update. The project will have three framework principles: detailed intergovernmental cooperation, strong public participation, and a quest to meet the goals of a Wisconsin Energy Independent Community and become a more sustainable community as a whole. The process will include a wide list of participants, which will include all adjacent and overlapping units of government and a wide range of stakeholders that will help define the future direction of the City
