June 20,2010

The Fire Department responded to a structure fire in a one story single family residence at 809 Grant Street. Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the residence and quickly extinguished the fire. Fire damage was confined to the kitchen area with smoke damage throughout. No one was home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries. Damage was estimated at $50,000.

March 30, 2010

The Chippewa Falls Fire & Emergency Services Department was called to a structure fire at a one story, brick duplex located at 512 & 514 Terrace Drive at 09:03am.Upon arrival firefighters found smoke and flames coming from the basement of both units. The fire was extinguished with pre-connected hose lines.

March 25, 2010

The Chippewa Falls Fire & Emergency Services Department responded to 925 First Avenue for a report of a fire in an air handling unit. Upon arrival firefighters found fire in a welding booth's air cleansing unit. The fire was extinguished using hand held fire extinguishers
