Chippewa Falls formed a Storm Water Utility in January of 2006. The Utility was formed after an intensive three year period in which the formation of the utility was the focus at a number of public meetings, information sessions, and newspaper informational articles. The Utility was formed to deal with the changing landscape in storm water management and new challenges that face the City in the future. The Utility provides a segregated, dedicated funding source to successfully manage the Chippewa Falls Municipal Storm Water Conveyance System.
