The City of Chippewa Falls (Pop. 13,965) is accepting applications for the position of Fiscal Clerk II.
Responsibilities include balancing daily and monthly bank statements; balance sheet and account reconciliation; accounts payable/receivable and tax collection; special assessment accounting; spreadsheet preparation for various funds for budget and year end projections; assisting with annual audits; payroll processing; benefits administration; and various other clerical duties. Qualifications include an Associate Degree with a major in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field and at least four years experience in a similar responsible position or equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified candidate must be proficient with the use of computer spreadsheets and their application to accounting and finance; be self-motivated with excellent written and oral communication skills; have good knowledge of the principles and practices of finance; possess strong analytical ability, customer service, and data collection skills; and have the ability to work independently in a busy office environment. Hourly wage is $19.94.
